1928 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Murderer's Row continued to slaughter the competition this season, yet again sweeping the National League contendors in October to claim the World Championship. In fact, this important orb almost certainly derives from that World Series meeting with the St. Louis Cardinals, as there would be no other good reason to find the Yanks on an ONL (Heydler) ball. The Babe is found in his customary sweet spot position, with Gehrig, Combs and Hoyt to his left, Pennock to his right, and Lazzeri and Huggins above. Ruth, Gehrig, Pennock and Combs retain signature strength of 5/10 or better, while the balance of the Hall of Famers dip as low as 2/10. Fourteen autographs are here in total, with Meusel, Koenig and Bengough also easy to spot. Condition problems must be forgiven when considering the very respectable Hall of Fame autographs here, and the Fall Classic vintage. LOA from PSA/DNA.
