    Description

1927 New York Yankees Partial Team Signed Baseball. The "May 6, 1927" notation in an unknown hand attributes the signing of this "Wilson American League" ball to a travel day for the mighty Murderer's Row from an (Urban) Shocker of a loss to the lowly Senators in Washington to a lopsided shutout victory over the White Sox in Chicago. The Home Run King claims the sweet spot in typical Ruthian fashion, surrounded by nine teammates including Gehrig, Combs, Meusel, Gazella, Thomas, Beall and the tough Julie Wera. Signature quality is a consistent 7/10. An important memento from the greatest season in Yankees history. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
