    Description

1927 New York Yankees Hall of Famers Signed Baseball. Four Yankee legends. Five signatures. One baseball, definitively signed during the greatest Yankee season ever. This exceptional artifact from the height of the Murderer's Row era in the Bronx offers the signatures of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig (twice), Earle Combs and Herb Pennock, limiting the autographs only to those who would one day reside at Cooperstown. Each of the five autographs is entirely legible and unmistakable, ranging from 3/10 to 6/10 in boldness, with all but one of the Gehrigs at the high end of that spectrum. Combs personalizes the ball "To Herman Stanton." Thrillingly, this OAL (Johnson) ball presents a peculiarity in its stamping that dates it to a single season: 1927. This is almost certainly the only baseball in existence to feature four Hall of Fame 1927 Yankees with no lesser names, and the sophisticated collector will see this as the once in a lifetime opportunity that it is. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
