    Description

1927 New York Yankees & Washington Senators Signed Baseball with Ruth, Gehrig. A notation in an unknown hand dates this "Boys League" sphere to April 25, 1928, a twelve to four destruction of the visiting Senators at Yankee Stadium early in the pinstripers' World Championship season. The cast of characters appearing is 7/10 average ink validates the vintage, as we find Senators mainstays Goose Goslin, Nick Altrock, Muddy Ruel and Bucky Harris among Yankee icons like Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri, Durocher and more. Twenty-one autographs are here in total, with the cool pairing of Ruth and his 60th home run of 1927 Tom Zachary sharing sweet spot duties. A fine memento of the sport's Golden Age. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
