1927 John McGraw, Rogers Hornsby, Frank Frisch Signed Baseball. Giants both by team affiliation and historical importance, these three Hall of Famers share space with Polo Grounds hurler Freddie Fitzsimmons upon an ONL (Heydler) ball. The noble emperor McGraw appears with 3/10 strength, adding "1927" to his black fountain pen autograph. Frisch and Hornsby rate 7/10 and 8/10 in black and blue ink respectively. Fitzsimmons is likewise 8/10. The ball itself presents quite nicely except for a scattering of small divots which appear rodent inflicted, though the furry snacker remained graciously clear of the signatures themselves. An important reminder that there was baseball brilliance on both sides of the Harlem River in 1927. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
