    Description

1925 Washington Senators Team Signed Baseball from Peckinpaugh Estate. The old vaudeville joke, "Washington: first in war, first in peace, last in the American League" wasn't quite so funny in 1924 and 1925, when the Big Train steamrolled his way to the American League pennant in back to back seasons, ending three years of pinstriped dominance. The legendary Walter Johnson takes appropriate sweet spot position on the provided OAL (Johnson) sphere, the finest specimen from this important team we've ever encountered. Other notables among the twenty-five signers: Goslin, Rice, Harris, Peckinpaugh (from whose estate this ball derives), Ruel, Marberry, Judge, Altrock, Zachary and more. Average autograph strength is 8/10, with none dipping more than two points below that lofty mark. A truly stellar representation. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
