1924 World Tour Baseball Signed by Chicago White Sox & New York Giants Teams. Though the 1934 Tour of Japan remains the most famous of foreign excursions in the history of our national pastime, it was preceded not only by a 1931 Japan trip but also by two voyages to Europe and beyond orchestrated by Chicago White Sox owner Charles Comiskey. Here we encounter a rare artifact from the second of these two tours, again a pairing of Comiskey's own team and that of his good friend John McGraw. Twenty-eight signatures from the ChiSox and Giants adorn this ONL (Heydler) souvenir, most notably the pairing of Comiskey (9/10) and McGraw (5/10) together on a side panel. Other Hall of Fame residents include Hughie Jennings (5/10), Casey Stengel (4/10), Dave Bancroft (5/10), Ed Walsh (3/10), Red Faber (5/10), Ted Lyons (4/10) and Ross Youngs (in secretarial format). Other important names include Bibb Falk, Muddy Ruel and St. Petersburg, Florida mayor Al Lang, an instrumental force in the development of spring training in the Sunshine State. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
