1924 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Baseball with Ty Cobb. Just three teams finished above the .500 mark in the 1924 American League pennant race--the Senators, the Yankees, and this Motor City crew led by the legendary Georgia Peach. We find the reigning Hit King near the sweet spot stamping of this shellacked OAL (Johnson) sphere, his 6/10 application one of the stronger specimens among the twenty-eight autographs present. Other notables include Manush, Whitehill, Holloway, Cole, Haney, Stoner, Leonard, Wingo. Approximately half of signatures rate 5/10 or better, the balance between 1/10 and 4/10. A very rare team ball from the final years of Cobb's two decades in Detroit. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
