1920's Walter Johnson & Clark Griffith Signed Baseball. Though Griffith surrendered the managerial reins of the Washington Senators at the close of the 1920 season, our suspicion is that the presented ball dates from slightly after his retirement. In any regard, The Old Fox joins the other most notable figure in Washington D.C. baseball history upon this "Norman American League" baseball, the first time we've encountered this desirable duo on horsehide. Griffith is very light but entirely discernible on the northern panel at 2/10, while the Big Train roars along at a far bolder 8/10 on the sweet spot. Ball is moderately and evenly toned. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

I thought that Peter Calderon was very pleasant and had a very professional attitude.
