He was part of the two pennant winning teams (1948 and 1954) and helped the tribe take "World Champions" in 1948. "The Hebrew Hammer" was utterly dominating in 1953, leading the American League in home runs (43), RBI's (145), runs (115), slugging percentage (.613) and total bases (367), as well as assists and double plays as a third baseman earning him AL "MVP" honors.
