    Description

2000 Alex Rodriguez Signed Game Used Home Run Bat. From his final season with the Mariners, this Alex Rodriguez gamer was used to belt his first home run of the year. He would go on to finish with forty-one long bombs on the season, before taking the show to Texas the following season. This Louisville Slugger C271 signature series black bat is uncracked and in excellent condition. Number "3" is written on the knob in silver paint pen, and on the barrel A-Rod has penned his name in 8/10 silver ink, as well as added the notation "HR #1 2000 Game Used."

Bat shows excellent use with numerous cleat marks and a heavy layer of pine tar added to the top two-thirds of the handle. Lots of nice ball marks with almost no checking on the cupped lumber A-Rod used to belt one of his 654 homers prior to 2014. Bat measures 34" and weighs 29.5 ounces. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
