1980's Mickey Mantle Signed Jacket. The Mick didn't like signing anything that wasn't either a baseball or a photograph, so the modern hobby suffers from a real dearth of garments such as this, a fine tribute to one of the greatest seasons ever executed in the Bronx. This "Mirage First String" jacket looks like a team-issued model from the front except for the "Mickey Mantle No. 7" inscription that announces itself in 9/10 silver sharpie. Verso reads "1961 New York Yankees" in bold block lettering. The first jacket of this style we've seen autographed by one of the M&M Boys. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
