    Description

1980 Roger Maris Single Signed Baseball. The reigning single season home run king was on hand at Dodger Stadium on July 8, 1980 to watch the American League fall to the Nationals by a score of four to two. One smart fan at the game tracked down Rajah and wrangled a blue marker sweet spot signature on an official ball from the event. The autograph rates 8/10, and the ball shows some uneven toning (typical of many Major League baseballs manufactured in Haiti). These issues can do little, however, to diminish the appeal of a tough and essential single from the man who made the 1961 baseball season one that will be remembered forever. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
