1974 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball, PSA Mint 9. Another Yankees team ball from the teenaged beauty that consigned the Thurman Munson jacket to this auction. Simply spectacular in condition, this ball left the authenticators at PSA/DNA with no choice but to rate the signature quality an unimprovable 10/10, with the rather stingy grade of 8/10 on the ball itself accounting for an overall grade of PSA Mint 9. The celebrated backstop Munson is again the big hero here, though Chambliss, Nettles, Lyle, Murcer, Blomberg, Piniella, Whitey Ford, Elston Howard and Mel Stottlemyre (clubhouse) are certainly no slouches either. A monumental assortment of twenty-nine flawless autographs are here in all, finding a home on an OAL (MacPhail) baseball. Certainly one of the finest specimens on earth. LOA from PSA/DNA.
