    Description

1970's Roger Maris & Tracy Stallard Signed Baseball. Here's a duo we've never encountered sharing horsehide previously, providing one sharp bidder the opportunity to set himself apart from the collecting herd. The ever-humble Maris takes his standard lower side panel position in 9/10 blue felt tip upon this OAL (Brown) ball, while Stallard is given no option but to claim the sweet spot for himself, in 9+/10 blue ink. Stallard, of course, is best remembered as the Boston Red Sox pitcher who surrendered Maris' historic sixty-first home run of the 1961 season, joining Charlie Root (victimized for Ruth's sixtieth in 1927) in an infamous brotherhood. The ball itself remains marvelously clean and white, supplying impressive aesthetics to match the historical relevance. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
