    Description

1970's Roger Maris & Mickey Mantle Dual-Signed Baseball. After Ruth and Gehrig, there's no more memorable duo in the pinstriped fold than the M&M boys, who captivated the world with raw power during the summer of '61. And like the Babe and Lou, baseballs bearing the autographs of Mickey and Roger can only continue to soar in value, with no limit but the sky. This attractive specimen is one of the nicer ones you'll find, with a 9/10 Maris signature unusually and ideally placed upon the ball's sweet spot, and Mantle equally strong on the side panel, perhaps the Mick's acknowledgement of defeat in their famous battle. OAL (MacPhail) ball exhibits some light toning, still presenting nicely. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
