    1967 Mickey Mantle's 500th Home Run Memorabilia Collection from Murphy Martin Estate. Fantastic assembly of artifacts from the Mick's entry into the sport's most illustrious long ball brotherhood begins with an 8x10" photograph signed to fellow Dallasite and renowned broadcaster Murphy Martin. The Mick tells the tale to Martin, and generously inscribed the shot, "To Murph, I know you enjoyed my 500th as much as I did. Thanks a lot, Mickey Mantle." Black marker rates 8.5/10, and photo appears NRMT but has not been examined outside of original frame. Martin's broadcasting sheet from the day is affixed to verso Also here are a pair of VG stubs to the May 14, 1967 Yankee Stadium contest that saw history (tape on each), and a souvenir Mother's Day pendant that was given out in the Bronx that day. All pieces derive from the Martin family. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
