    1967-79 Thurman Munson Ephemera from Kent State Teammate with Multiple Autographs. A long friendship that began as teammates on the Kent State baseball team is documented by the presented collection, consigned by a gentleman who followed Munson's career from their time together in collegiate ball until the Yankee captain's tragic death in 1979. Contents of the lot:

    1) 1977 New York Yankees team signed baseball. Twenty-four signatures with Munson, Randolph, Piniella. Secretarial signatures from Martin, Hunter, Johnson and Berra. OAL (MacPhail). Signatures 8/10 and better.

    2) Rookie-era photo signed "To 'Moose,' A hell of a guy, Thurman Munson." Inscription and signature 9/10. Photo 8x10".

    3) Eight unsigned photos of Munson (Three Kent State team shots, four individual in Kent State uniform, one in civilian clothing). Sizes range from 4x6" to 10x14". Condition averages EX.

    4) Pair of Munson "signed" clippings. Each features his handwritten name, so could be considered autographs. Munson is providing his address and/or phone number. Ink 10/10.

    5) 1968 Topps Collegiate District All-Star Player First Team Award portfolio. Includes photo of Munson and notations added by consignor.

    6) Pair of funeral cards from Munson service.
