1962 Satchel Paige Signed Book. Appropriately entitled Maybe I'll Pitch Forever, this autobiography of the greatest pitcher ever to emerge from the Negro Leagues was published in 1962, three years before Paige made his final Major League appearance tossing three scoreless innings for the Kansas City Athletics at age fifty-eight. The first edition hardcover remains in marvelous condition, complete with original dust jacket, and is flawlessly signed on the opening blank page, "Best Wishes from Satchel Paige." Some minor toning to this page is the only condition issue worth noting, and its effect is negligible. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
