    Description

1962 "Safe At Home" Lobby Card Signed by Mantle & Maris. There were no bigger stars in baseball when Hollywood rushed this semi-biopic to the silver screen, hoping to capitalize on the fame the M&M boys commanded following their thrilling 1961 home run chase. The 11x14" lobby card is vintage but the blue sharpie signatures are likely circa 1980, each applied with 10/10 boldness. Mantle/Maris signed material has ranked among the strongest performers over the past decade, so all statistics would indicate this as a solid investment for the financially astute investor. The lobby card is affixed to a backing board and exhibits some wear including a small tear and staining at upper border, but a simple framing job would elevate the piece to the vicinity of a NRMT appearance. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
