1962 New York Mets Partial Team Signed Baseball. With the major tough/deceased figures present and accounted for, a dedicated autograph collector could make a pretty good run at a full team ball using this Official Little League ball as a starting point. We begin with a big and bold sweet spot Casey Stengel, then find fellow Hall of Famer Rogers Hornsby just below, even a point better on the signature rating scale. The top panel holds four more signatures, highlighted by the ever popular Gil Hodges. Gus Bell, Sherman Jones and Frank Thomas round out the cast of characters. They too rank 9/10 or better, and the ball exhibits some moderate toning that does not diminish the vintage appeal. The team may have been among the worst in history, but you can never forget your first, can you? LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
