    Description

1961 Ty Cobb Single Signed Baseball. Absolutely exquisite single from the Dead Ball Era's greatest figure was acquired by a young fan's mother who cared for Cobb during the closing months of his tumultuous life. Mr. Mangham, who consigns the ball to this auction, claims the ball was tucked away in a drawer and never handled, and the evidence certainly bolsters that claim, as we find the Georgia Peach's blue ink inscription, "To Mike Mangham From Ty Cobb, 5/23/61," as bold as the day it was applied. The non-official ball is likewise wonderfully preserved, with that creamy tone we all love in vintage horsehide. Less than two months after signing this ball, Cobb would pass away at age seventy-four. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
