    Description

1960's Satchel Paige Single Signed Baseball. Fellow Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean once said of Paige, "He's a better pitcher than I ever hope to be," explaining that "My fastball looks like a change of pace alongside that little pistol bullet Satchel shoots up to the plate." Perhaps the greatest pitcher ever developed by the Negro Leagues, Paige applied a wonderfully blue ink signature to the side panel of this Official League ball. Light age wear shown. There is another note on an opposite side panel which was scribed in an unknown hand. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
