1960's Roger Maris Single Signed & Inscribed Baseball. "Roger Maris was my all-time favorite Yankee. If you knew Rog right, he was a grand guy." -- Pete Sheehy, Yankees clubhouse and equipment manager, 1926-85.

Roger Maris holds a special place in the hearts of Yankee and baseball fans alike. The appeal for Maris extends past his sixty-one home runs, two MVPs, and three World Series titles. He was respected and admired by teammates, opponents and fans for his polite, soft-spoken ways and consummate professionalism. His accomplishments on the diamond and premature demise in 1985 have made his single singed baseballs a rare treasure whose supply is always in short supply and high demand.

Here, Rog inscribes and signs a side panel of this Hutch "Official League" baseball "To Greg, Good Luck. Roger Maris" in 8.5/10 blue ballpoint. The ball shows some toning but the the stunning inscription and autograph will make you forget about any of the other distractions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
