    Description

1960's Roberto Clemente Handwritten Letter. Single handwritten page is penned in Clemente's native Spanish. Translated text: "Dearest Ivonne, I hope you and your loved ones are all well upon receipt of this letter. I received your note which made me very happy. As always it is nice to know of my friends in Puerto Rico. Only a few days before the end of the season. When I see the other players from San Juan I will say hello for you. If you by chance come to Pittsburgh, let me know, we are at your service. Let me say goodbye as always, your friend, Love, Roberto." All ink is 10/10 in quality, and the page has original mailing folds and light toning, but is otherwise in fine condition. A friendly and charming ALS from one of the game's great heroes. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
