    Description

1960's Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris Vintage Signed Photographs. While we love 1980's autographs from the M&M boys as much as the next guy, there's a special place in our hearts for those dating from the era of their reign, as we present here for the uncompromising collector. Each masterful full-color photographic portrait was clipped from issues of Sport Magazine, and measures just over 7.5x10.5". But, of course, the real appeal comes in the period autographs, each surviving in flawless 10/10 condition. Maris' is personalized "To Chuck, Best Wishes, Roger Maris," while Mantle offers just his classic signature. The bottom inch of the Maris image shows some minimal, uneventful wear, and a few tiny wrinkles touch Roger's face, but none of this affects display value in the slightest. The Mick is NRMT. Frame these side by side and remember the season of 1961 always. LOA from PSA/DNA.
