    Description

1960 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball. While Bobby Thomson's "Shot" is generally accepted to be the most historic of all long balls, ask fans in Pittsburgh and you'll hear instead that it was Bill Mazeroski's Series-ending blast that earned the thirty-three Bucs that signed this ball a World Championship crown. The Hall of Fame hero is here on this ONL (Giles) ball, joined by fellow superstar Clemente, Friend, Face, Haddix, Burgess, Law, Groat, Vernon, Hoak and more. All listed signatures register at a strength of 8/10 or better, as do all but eight of the rest, which range from 5/10 to 7/10 in strength. Murtaugh has been deemed secretarial. A high-grade sphere from an unforgettable season. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
