    Description

1959 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. High-grade Yankee team ball was the pride and joy of a ten-year old fan of the Kansas City Athletics who learned that a friend of his father was a waitress at the hotel where the visiting clubs stayed when visiting Municipal Stadium. Wisely, the youngster supplied the waitress with this "Official Special League" ball and asked that she pass it around the breakfast tables as she served them. Seventeen members honored her request, with their signatures remaining in incredible 9/10 condition almost half a century later. Notables include Mantle, Berra, Ford, Duren, Skowron, Howard, Turley, Carey, Richardson, Houk and more. A top-quality sphere for collectors who prize condition. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
