1956 Marilyn Monroe Signed Check on Eve of Wedding to Arthur Miller. Check drawn on "Marilyn Monroe Productions, Inc." account makes a payment of twenty-five dollars to "Pathological and Diagnostic Laboratories, Inc." on June 28, 1956. This date is particularly noteworthy as Marilyn would wed legendary playwright Arthur Miller the following day--one would suspect this medical visit related to the required blood test prior to their nuptials. The check is filled out in an unknown hand, but the signature at lower left is Monroe's, and is executed with unimprovable boldness. Bank stamping skirts the edges of the signature but does not impede upon it. Check itself is free of any condition problems worthy of note. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
