    Description

1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. Widely considered the most desirable team ball of the post-war era, representations commemorating the sole World Champion edition of the Brooklyn Dodgers are typically awash in clubhouse signatures, but here we find a welcome diversion from that theme. All twenty-two autographs applied to the presented ONL (Giles) ball are the genuine article, with a very rare rookie Sandy Koufax joined by fellow Hall of Famers Robinson, Campanella and Alston. Other notables: Hodges, Podres, Erskine, Furillo, Gilliam and the key Kellert, whose single season of Dodgers service assures 1955 vintage. Autographs average a solid 8/10. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
