1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball with Koufax, Lasorda. After five consecutive World Series losses to the hated Yanks over a period of fourteen seasons, the luckless Bums finally saw Next Year arrive in 1955, making this team signed sphere one of the most coveted of the post-war era. This specimen provides every Hall of Famer who appeared in uniform for that World Championship team, and represents the only 1955 model we've ever encountered to feature Dodger legend Tommy Lasorda, who pitched just four innings that year. The rare Koufax is here as well, joined by the familiar Flatbush heroes Robinson, Campanellla, Reese, Snider (CH) and Alston. Other notables: Hodges, Newcombe, Podres, Erskine, Furillo and the all-important Frank Kellert whose single season of Brooklyn service assures the 1955 label. Signature quality averages 8/10 on the toned ONL (Giles) sphere. Some spots of red paint cause little concern. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
