    Description

1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. There was finally joy in "Bum-ville" this year, as the Boys of Summer stopped the hated Yanks from making it six Subway Series victories in a row with a Game Seven shutout in the Bronx. Twenty-three World Champs join forces on this ONL (Giles) ball as an eternal tribute to that most joyous of seasons, most notably Jackie, Campy, a rookie Koufax, Alston, Hodges, Furillo, Newcombe, Erskine, Gilliam, Labine and Frank Kellert, whose appearance guarantees 1955 vintage. Appearing in clubhouse form are Reese, Snider, Amoros and Podres. Arguably the most desirable post-war team ball in the hobby, the combination of Hall of Fame talent and singular Championship relevance sets the sphere apart from the pack. Ball is toned to a pleasant coffee shade and the autographs average a marvelous 8/10 to 9/10 in boldness. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
