    Description

1954 Ted Williams Signed Topps Wax Box Top. After a few years of feuding between Topps and Bowman for player's rights, Topps finally won the battle over "The Kid" and signed Ted Williams to an exclusive deal for 1954. Not only was Williams the only player to be featured on two cards in the set (the first card and the final card, #250), his image was also used on the packaging. Hence, the item offered is the top of the 1954 Topps Wax Pack box with Williams' likeness and name. It has been signed in 9/10 blue sharpie and presents excellently. No creasing and no damage means this is going to make one gorgeous framed display piece. Measures 7x8." Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
