    Description

1954 New York Giants Team Signed Baseball. The World Championship of Major League Baseball comes to the borough of Manhattan for the last time. This exceptional ONL (Giles) ball holds the strong 8/10 to 10/10 signatures of twenty-nine members of the Coogan's Bluff crew, most notably a young Willie Mays (signing twice), who recorded the most famous catch in baseball history in Game One of the Series this season. Also present are Maglie, Dark, Wilhelm, Westrum and a great "Capt. Al Dark" signature sharing space with Durocher (stamped) on the sweet spot. "1954 New York Giants World Champs" has been neatly written by a fan in block lettering near the "Spalding" logo. A top-grade representation of this crucial team ball. LOA from PSA/DNA.
