    Description

1954 National League All-Star Team Signed Baseball. It stands to this date as perhaps the most exciting Midsummer Classic in the Game's long history, matching or breaking records for home runs (six), combined runs (twenty) and combined hits (thirty-one). In the end the American League would break their four-season losing streak by a tally of eleven to nine. Here we find twenty-two autographs from the losing side, but these are definitely no losers. Legends abound with Jackie Robinson, Spahn, Roberts, Musial, Mays, Reese, Schoendienst, Durocher, Hodges, Kluszewski, Erskine and more represented. Only Spahn (4/10) dips below the 8/10 mark in terms of boldness. OAL (Harridge). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
