1954 Baseball Stars Signed "Baseball Pictorial" Magazine. Well-worn and well-loved volume was a boy's constant companion through multiple trips to the ballpark, where he worked toward completion of full accounting of all Major Leaguer's signatures. He came up short, but the pages documents multiple brushes with greatness during that season. Among the signers, each appearing on or beside his photographic image, are Stengel, Martin, Lopez, Lemon, Boudreau, Ted Williams, Conigliaro, Jensen, Kuenn, Wertz, Stephens, Dressen, Lavagetto, B. Herman, Snider, Reese, Furillo, Gilliam, Hodges, Hoak, Mathews, Spahn, Burgess, Ashburn, Musial, Schoendienst, Haddix, Durocher, Thomson, Kluszewski, Banks, Kiner, Garagiola, Groat, Dressen. Ancient tape repairs ancient faults to the magazine, but the signatures themselves are unaffected and present as they did the day of their application. A charming relic from the halcyon days of 1950's baseball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
