    Description

1953 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The Bronx Bombers made it an unprecedented five consecutive World Championships this season, establishing a record that will likely remain unbroken for as long as Major League Baseball is played. Twenty-five of the men who wrote history that year are present on this OAL (Harridge) ball, most notably a 10/10 blue ink signature from Mickey Mantle, who signs in his supremely desirable rookie-era style. Framing his autograph are those of fellow Hall of Famers Berra and Rizzuto, while Mize, Martin, McDougald, Bauer, Raschi, Lopat, Reynolds and more reside nearby. Not a single autograph dips below a strength of 8/10, and the ball is lightly and evenly toned, with just a couple of rust spots to avoid perfection. Certainly still one of the nicest '53 Yankee balls to hit the hobby in recent memory. LOA from PSA/DNA.
