    Description

1953 Hall of Famers Multi-Signed Baseball with Cy Young, Ty Cobb. It's an absolutely extraordinary compilation of early baseball legends, the ONL (Giles) sphere likely deriving from some form of banquet honoring past greats of the game. Connie Mack claims sweet spot honors in 10/10 black fountain pen ink, with the balance of signers appearing in 8.5/10 or better blue ink unless otherwise noted. The cast of characters: Cy Young, Al Simmons, Dizzy Dean, Ty Cobb, Ford Frick, Warren Giles, Ed Walsh, Will Harridge (2/10) and George Trautman (President of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues). An unknown hand dates the ball to "53." The original box is present, surely the key to the remarkable state of preservation of its contents. A truly spectacular representation! Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
