1953-5 Thomas Connolly Signed Artvue Hall of Fame Plaque Postcard, PSA/DNA Authentic. One of the more elusive signed Hall of Fame postcards is that of arbiter Thomas Connolly. It isn't that Connolly wouldn't sign autographs and he did live until 1961, but many forgot to include the umpire into their Hall of Fame collections. We checked the auction archives and were only able to find three other signed Connolly Hall of Fame postcards - the last which sold for $10,080. Presented is the rare Connolly Hall of Fame issue. The autograph is placed against the blank background in 8/10 ink with the last name just a tad lighter. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Authentic.Auction Info
