1952 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Under the management of Casey Stengel, the 1952 New York Yankees won their fourth of five consecutive World Series contests, setting a new baseball record. Played against the rival Brooklyn Dodgers, it took the Yankees a full seven games to win this hard-fought championship. This OAL (Harridge) baseball is covered with twenty-eight autographs from the legendary lineup. An early Mickey Mantle signature graces this baseball, from his first full season with the club. Mantle is joined by the likes of other Yankees greats Stengel, Phil Rizzuto, Yogi Berra, Johnny Mize, Johnny Sain, Vic Raschi, Ed Lopat, Gene Woodling, Frank "Spec" Shea, Bob Cerv, Bill Dickey and Allie Reynolds. Signatures grade 6/10 on average, due to fading from shellac coating, although some present slightly stronger. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
