    Description

1952 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. With the great Joe DiMaggio settling into retirement, the Yankee spotlight would direct its glare solely upon the power-slugging young kid from Oklahoma, who would earn the first of fourteen consecutive All-Star Game appearances in support of the squad's fourth consecutive World Championship campaign. Mickey Mantle, in his highly desirable rookie signature style, still commands the spotlight on this OAL (Harridge) ball along with twenty-three Bronx Bombers, including Berra, Mize, Rizzuto, Martin, Bauer, Reynolds, Woodling, McDougald, Raschi, Houk and Sain. Only Berra and Bauer fall (barely) below a 6/10 rating, with the balance of the autographs averaging 8/10 in quality. A quality sphere from the first great season for the mighty Mick. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
