1952 New York Yankees Oversized Photograph from Ed Lopat Estate. Issued only to players and staff involved in the exploits of this "four-peating" World Championship squard, this marvelous team shot derives from the personal collection of southpaw ace Ed Lopat, a clutch Fall Classic performer with an .800 winning percentage in October. That's him third from the right in the top row, just a few players down from a sophomore season Mickey Mantle. Signatures at bottom are facsimile. The image exhibits "scrolling" from having been rolled and partially crushed, but this common condition problem for panoramic format photos must be forgiven in light of the great scarcity. Photo measures 11.5x19" and is matted and framed to a final 16.5x24". Letter of provenance from hobby pioneer Josh Evans attests to Lopat derivation. Letter of provenance from Josh Evans.
