    Description

1951 Brooklyn Dodgers Partial Team Signed Baseball Used in Preacher Rowe's Twentieth Victory Game. Much to love about this ONL (Giles) sphere, which provides the twin appeal of important and high-grade autographs with elite game action. The ball began life in an umpire's pocket, pressed into service for a September 14th Bums victory over the Pirates at Pittsburgh's Forbes Field. We assume it is Roe's own hand that notates the ball with the details of the game and his twenty and two record above his autograph on the ball's southern panel. Joining Roe are ten teammates including Robinson, Campanella, Reese, Snider, Dressen, Hodges, Furillo and more. All signatures rate 9/10 or better. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
