    Description

1950's Ty Cobb, Rogers Hornsby & Stan Musial Signed Baseball. Numbers one, two and thirty (Step it up, Stanley!) on the career batting average list make for a unique trio on this OAL (Harridge) sphere, with each elite batsman convincingly displaying as a single signed sphere. Cobb appears in his quirky green ink beneath an amber coating of shellac, rating an impressive 9/10 in strength. To his north is the most consistent right handed hitter in baseball history, likewise 9/10 beneath a shellac coating. And, finally, Stan Musial continues the 9/10 theme to Cobb's south, free of shellac. A small scribble or stray mark on the ball's sweet spot is noted in the interest of full disclosure. PSA has revealed there are removals to this sphere. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
