1950's Roderick "Bobby" Wallace Twice Signed Black & White Hall of Fame Plaque. To the best of our knowledge, we present here the only known authenticated example of a Bobby Wallace signed plaque, allowing one dedicated hobbyist to raise his collection to a level that no other could match. The scarcity is no surprise. Wallace was eighty years old at the time of his induction and living in Torrance, California, making Cooperstown appearances all but impossible. This one appears to have been acquired to the mail, which would explain the line drawn for signature placement on the front, and the inscription on back that reads, "Thank you Lionel, and all good wishes, Sincerely Roderick J. Wallace." The signature on front rates a solid 9/10, with the inscription on verso perhaps a half-point stronger still. Certainly one of the finest Artvues in the hobby, period. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
