    Description

    1950's-2000's Signed Baseball Card Collection (380). Countless hours, ballpark visits, and mail requests must have gone into building this collection, consisting of 380 various baseball autographed trading cards. Starting with a few 1950's and 1960's cards, the lot picks up steam heading into the 1970's through the 2000's with most of the material in that range. A sampling of the lot includes these cards: 1969 Topps Tony Oliva (VG-EX), 1975 SSPC Brooks Robinson (EX-MT), 1970's TCMA All Time Team Billy Herman (NM), 1979 O-Pee-Chee Steve Garvey (NM), 1979 O-Pee-Chee Willie Stargell (MT), 1981 Donruss Willie Stargell (EX), 1985 Topps Steve Garvey (EX-MT), 1987 Fleer Phil Niekro (VG-EX), 1988 Fleer Dennis Eckersley (EX-MT), 1989 Fleer Alan Trammell (EX-MT), 1997 Donruss Andruw Jones (NM) and 1997 Topps Stars Tom Glavine (NM).

    In addition eight cards are included that were pack-issued, manufacturer-certified signatures. These cards have a high book value of $340 alone. Two of those cards are: 1997 Donruss Signature Millennium Marks David Ortiz RC (NM-MT) and 2004 Throwback Threads Century Collection Game Worn Jersey/Autograph Steve Garvey #39/50 (MT). The remaining six are from the 1999 Fleer Sports Illustrated Autograph Collection set, and include: Eddie Mathews, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline (2), Gaylord Perry and Lou Brock (average EX-MT). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
