    Description

1950 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. The second of five consecutive World Championship seasons for the boys from the Bronx, who rose to the top of the baseball world for a long stay beginning in 1949. It would prove to be a fitting conclusion for Joltin' Joe DiMaggio, who was enjoying his second to last season in the game when he autographed the sweet spot of the presented OAL (Harridge) sphere. He is joined by twenty-three teammates, each appearing in the same 8/10 or better black fountain pen ink. The notables: Berra, Rizzuto, Mize, Martin, Reynolds, Houk, Raschi, Henrich, Brown, Bauer and more. Certainly one of the finest of its type, perhaps even a candidate for professional grading should the urge strike. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
