1949 Eddie Collins Signed Check. Sports Market Report books Collins checks at $2,500, but can you recall the last time you actually saw one? We can't think of any either. A somewhat tough and certainly desirable autograph in any format, Collins becomes essentially impossible in the one we present here. All writing is in the ageless Hall of Famer's 9+/10 blue ink, apparently paying taxes for his property in the Boston suburb of Brookline. Short of expected bank stamping and punch coding, the check remains in fabulous, undamaged condition without a fold, tear or stain to report. Bid now or forever hold your peace. The wait for another will be a long (and possibly eternal) one. LOA from PSA/DNA. LOA from James Spence Authentication.
