    Description

1949 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. The Bums would nip the Cardinals at the wire this season, winning three of their final four contests to end a month and a half of St. Louis' lead and take the flag by a single game. Twenty-one of the men responsible for that heroic late-season surge are present upon this ONL (Frick) ball, an absolutely marvelous specimen ranking near the pinnacle of all surviving examples. Appearing in 9/10 or better blue ink are Robinson, Campanella, Reese (CH), Snider (CH), Shotton (CH), Newcombe (CH), Erskine, Roe and more. The ball is lightly and evenly toned to a delectable, creamy shade. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
