    Description

1949 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. An absolutely breathtaking specimen from this National League Championship squad, with the bulk of the signatures so strong that we must struggle with the notion of dubbing them 10/10. Note the panel just north of the ONL (Frick) stamping, where Gil Hodges, Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella are stacked in succession. Could you rate them anything less? Also exceptional are autographs from Reese, Snider, Newcombe, Erskine, Roe, Barney and manager Shotton (CH) on the sweet spot. And then consider the signature count: thirty-one! There's no getting around it--this is unquestionably one of the finest spheres from this historic season ever to reach the marketplace. LOA from PSA/DNA. From the Personal Collection of Preacher Roe, with his letter of provenance.
